" I started this company because I wanted to expand my role as a
conservationist while offering a service that is beneficial not only to our
customers but the bats as well."
My name is David Diaz, and I am the president of American Bat Removal.
We are a bat conservation company that specializes in the removal of bats
from homes, buildings and other man-made structures using safe and
humane methods around the state of Florida. Our staff offers incomparable
service when it comes to getting the job done. We will ensure that we get
rid of your bats and keep them out. GUARANTEED!
Most residents are unaware of the fact that bats live in their
communities. In Florida, nineteen different species of bats account
for about a quarter of the mammal population. Of the nineteen, ten
species of bats inhabit homes, buildings and other man-made
structures. All the species of bats in Florida eat insects. Each bat
will consume between 1000 and 3000 flying insects a night. Because
they can control the mosquito population, they have been put on the
protected species list. Intentionally killing or hurting a bat colony is
an offense punishable by fines and/or penalties. Bats play a major
role in the stabilization of our environment without their help, our
state would be uninhabitable.

Bats only become a problem when a large colony
moves into your home or building. Many bats have
been killed or injured by unqualified individuals who
attempt to remove colonies with methods that do
not work. Bats are extremely territorial and unless
an exclusion is performed correctly, the problem
will persist. Bat exclusions should only be done by
licensed, qualified professionals.
A bat colony will double in size
every year, as females give birth to
one pup every summer. Colonies
that go unchecked can grow into
the thousands. The longer a
colony is allowed to roost, the more
difficult it becomes to keep them
out once they have been excluded.
If you believe you have bats
roosting in your home call an
expert. He can help you identify the
problem and remedy the situation
before it gets out of control.
